Dear Parents/Friends of 1st Bicester Scout Group
We would like to thank you for your support of the group over the last year, but as ever there is a need for more fundraising, specifically to build a new annexe to the hall. This will enable all of the chairs and tables to be stored away leaving more room for the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to safely maximize use of the hall. |

Chief Scouts' Silver Award for Cub Scouts - 07-11-2009
This year, in Oxfordshire, 210 Cub Scouts gained the Chief Scout’s Silver Award. This was the highest number ever. On Saturday 7th November 138 of those recipients attended a presentation ceremony in Wantage to receive their certificate from Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for Oxfordshire, Mr Tim Stevenson and Town Mayor for Wantage, Councillor Patrick O’Leary and a specially commissioned commemorative woggle presented by the Oxfordshire County Commissioner for Scouting, Mr Tarquin May. |
